John Timothy Stanhope was raised on a farm in northern California and was taught the value of strong ethics and hard work early in life. He also found early on that he had a servant's heart and wanted to see the best for his fellows. This passion and sensitivity fueled his interest in the arts and caused him to seek education and employment in the entertainment industry. After working several years in the production and post-production arenas within the film industry, he heeded a call to work for a nonprofit organization in Colorado for several years, where he also owned a coffee & tea house.
Eventually, though, he found himself back in southern California and was fortunate enough to work for a respected post-production facility for several more years. However, at one point he had an opportunity to purchase a pleasant home just about 12 minutes from the ocean on the east coast, in the lovely community of Wilmington, North Carolina, so he made another huge leap in life and bought that home.
During the purchase of this home, a strong interest in real estate took hold, in large portion due to the extremely positive experience he had. He had considered such a career before because of the great satisfaction in helping people with one of the most important decisions in their lives and assisting them in finding a home--not just a house--that would truly suit them. The desire to help others in this way led to an opportunity to take education in the real estate field, after which he sought affiliation with one of the most respected agencies in all of North Carolina, Intracoastal Realty Corporation. With approximately $1.2 billion in residential and commercial production, Intracoastal is the area's market leader and has worldwide connections through Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a premier invitation-only organization comprised of top independent real estate firms.
John works out of the Intracoastal Wrightsville Beach office, right near the Atlantic ocean. Wrightsville Beach is one of the best beach areas along the east coast and the homes there are highly sought after, drawing people from all around the country. Intracoastal is privileged to be front and center in the sale of beachfront homes, as well many other great family dwellings, both large and small. Intracoastal has the ability to meet the needs of just about any home purchaser, and John is excited to be part of the team there.
